Tough road schedule but the home games look pretty darn good to me.

It won't look pretty darn good when we are scheduled to play PIT, GB, and Cincy coming off their bye/mini-bye, which is what I fully expect from this league. I'll be quoting these posts of mine when the 2016 schedule rolls out in 5 months.

Yes. This will happen. This year we were either first or in the top few in playing teams after a bye or mini bye.

Nothing as bad as last year though when they screwed us with the Sunday night road game across the country before our thanksgiving game. That was uncool.

That would be fine if this team didn't stink at home. This team was lucky to win at home opening night against the Giants. They haven't won at home since. In fact, this team has been terrible at home ever since they blew up Texas Stadium.

If the Cowboys aren't the worst home team in the NFL, they are close.

Actually it is not a bad schedule based on this years teams. It will be how it is laid out that will make it tough. We know for a fact, GB & Pittsburgh road game will be in December, and probably 4 days apart.
With a healthy Romo, does any of these teams put the fear into you. Bengals and Packers probably the toughest.

I don't disagree with saying 8-8. but wouldn't say 10-6 is out of the possibility either.

Cleveland, Minnesota and 49ers are all winnable and I expect us to be good enough to compete with anybody including Green Bay and Pittsburgh who we beat last time we played them. I don't think the schedule is that bad to be honest.

3-4 on the road this season, 1-6 in Jerry's world.

Since the Jones Mahal opened in 2009:

27-28 Home
30-25 Road

The Cowboys are a better road team than home, at least recently. Romo's road record is outstanding too.

I think it's because the last time we faced their division we played them in our house. Can't forget the Flynn game.

How can anyone forget us gifting them their largest come-from-behind win (23 points) in franchise history? They couldn't stop Murray, so we stopped using him.

Looking at schedules in advance is a hard art to master; so much changes during the course of the year where that one game that looked like a cakewalk is now anything but and vice versa.

Teams are so completely different from each year that you don't know how tough the schedule will actually be.

We were 3rd...right above the Super Bowl Winners. The sad part is, the #2 abused team is the happless Redski...err...can't say that anymore, the Washington Football team. I firmly believe it was a big "*** You" to Snyder for not giving into the PC Mob and changing the team's name (Why else would a team with a 4-12 record be at the top?) . So...why not give them one of the hardest roads and give the detractors something to cheer about. Egg on their face, now. I hope the Commanders make the playoffs and knock off one of the darlings.
