Schedule looking tougher as season goes on

Giants on Mon night - Division game against a quality team

@Carolina - Tough road game against a strong NFC team

@Washington - Any road division game is tough, especially after we beat them at home

@Arizona - After the Bears Mon night game this game on the road is no gimme

Indy - nuff said, .. glad it's a home game.

Tampa Bay - This game at home should be a win, if we are what we want to be

@Giants - Again, any road division game is hard, plus the Giants have good team

New Orleans - Glad this one is at Texas stadium, what a marquee game this will be with Payton returning to Dallas

@Atlanta - M. Vick is dangerous, we will have to stop the run.

Phily - Can't wait for this one, but it will be a tough game.

Detroit - Good to have a home game that we should win to end the season.

Only a couple of those games seem to be sure wins, but any given Sunday we could lose.

This schedule is a tough row to hoe.

Wouldn't put Indy in the win column just yet either. IMO.

This schedule would look a whole lot easier if we could play to what I believe our passing game potential is. But if we're gonna struggle in that area all season long, then quality teams, of which we face several, are gonna have a great chance to knock us off.

Honestly, this week's game is huge. Will we step forward against a quality opponent or will we continue to struggle.

A couple of thoughts:

1.) Our schedule would look better if we had everyone's darling Bears schedule. Their schedule is soft, and so is their team. They'll be in the playoffs...where they will be exposed as frauds.

2.) Carolina is going to be tough. After that rough start, they're firing on all cylinders. Its a good thing we tend to play them close.

3.) Indy is overrated, but their game matches up well with our weaknesses...this one bothers me.

4.) All of our division games scare me, including Washington.

lol...exactly. We are stopping the run better than anyone in the league, there's no way this team loses to Atlanta. The weakness is in the secondary, don't think Manning won't know exactly where Watkins is at all times.

Saw-em lose to Pittsburgh in Landry's last year, and saw them beat the Browns at Cleveland early in the Triplets era.

Somehow I have to get to a game at Texas Stadium before they move.

If - sorry, When, the Cowboys make the playoffs this year - I'm headed down to Dallas for a home game. Should be fun making those plans within a week, lol. I was thrilled when the wife agreed to that.

Well hopefully we can bump you up to 2-1 in Carolina.

I'm trying to accomplish two things: get to Texas stadium before the move, and score some tickets to the home opener in Arlington. I'd love to be able to say I was there for the first game. I may be living in Dallas by then so that might make more plausible.

We will be battled tested come playoff time with a schedule like this and this is exactly why all of the Romo talk is ludicrous.....I need a seasoned veteran leading my team against the NFL's best.....not an unproven young QB that's faced adversity in this league.

I think we all new as soon as the shcedule came out that it was going to be a tuff row to hoe. I just hope we start seeing some continuity in the passing game, the rest will take care of itself. The sky is the limit for us if we can start clicking throwing the ball.
