Schedule Question

I need some help with this one.

I was looking at the 2011 Schedule.. Taking a look at NFC vs AFC games. I will admit I didnt look over every team but noticed.

Steeler host the Seahawks in week 2 in Pittsburgh.

However, the steeler hosted the seahawks in 07.. why host again in 2011?? I was under the impression these outta conference games rotated every 4 years? Look at the cowboys 07 vs 2011 all games have rotated?

anyone have any idea why?

Seattle fans still mad about superbowl 40? Hope leavy calls this game in week 2.:laugh2:

Yes, the NFL juggled the schedule so that Seattle and San Francisco were not away games for any teams the same season. It is now San Fran and Arizona on the same home and away series and then St. Louis and Seattle for the same home and away series.

I am confused why would they do this? Long trips? why not make az come to pitts and cut seattle a break vs Pittsburgh? they really got hosed in SB 40 toss them a bone.
