Actually the preseason and regular-season schedule is always scheduled to be released before the draft. They pushed it back due to the virus this year. The league has said all along they were planning to play this year. Even if it meant a delay in starting the season there would still be games.

Yeah the schedule is usually released in late March I believe. Or early April. Definitely before the draft.

I am a fan of many sports, the NFL's trying it's best to retain some kind of familiar schedule to proceedings is the only thing keeping me sane (ish).

That didn’t actually happen, though most of the schedule was like that. Since the Cowboys 12th game is always at home, they would need to start out on the road for that to happen.

That would mean Washington would win the super bowl.

01 was the only year they didn't win a shortened season.

I expect to see something very different from the NFL schedule this year. They will stick to the already published scheduled home and away opponents. But I suspect they will schedule the games in anticipation of possibly canceling some early season games and likewise scheduling the games that least affect the season results at the beginning of the season... the interconference games. For the Cowboys, that will be the games against the AFC North.

Of course that’s what they’re saying. There’s no reason to say at this time there will be any delays or cancelling.

The only delay thus far has been the release of the schedule.
