No Excuse tour has marching orders
From Super Bowl or bust to no more excuses, the Cowboys now know the road they must travel in 2009.
The highlights include back to back primetime games to open the new Cowboys stadium in Arlington, starting with the New York Giants Sept. 20 on NBC in week two followed by an ESPN Monday night affair against the Carolina Panthers. The ever popular Cowboys play a league-high tying five games in primetime.
The season will likely come down to a very tough December and January stretch that includes three of the final five games on the road against the Giants, Saints and Commanders and two tough home games against the San Diego Chargers and the Philadephia Eagles to end the season Jan. 3.
The Cowboys have not had a winning record in December and January since 1996. Not surprisingly they have not won a playoff game since then either.
But Terrell Owens is gone. There is a new attitude. And there are no more excuses.

No Joy in Mudville or Dallas.
The Cowboys have their marching orders. T.O. is gone. The season of no excuses has been set.
Hate to break the bad news but their will be no joy in Mudville again. The Cowboys will collapse as usual in December and January and finish 9-7. They will go 1-4 down the stretch, solidifying another year without a playoff win.
