I am more shocked are doing the right thing and are playing the players who have been healthy all summer. And given who the Giants are marching out there at WR, I guess they feel comfortable.

The way I look at it, the team has great confidence in the other corners, and they should, they've all had excellent oreseasons. Knowing that, the team feels that thy can ease Jones back into game shape and a full time role.

Limited and monitored snaps. I was wrong, when they illustrated the surgery they said it was a basic cleaning.

It's not a huge deal for this particular game. Giants have Shepard who's a high-level slot or quality no.2 WR but he's the only established wider receiver and he's a 5'10, 4.48 forty guy so isn't going to cause major mismatch headaches. It's Barkley and Evan Ingrams that present the biggest threat. I wouldn't mind seeing Jones cover Ingram as a big nickel corner on a limited snap count for this one game.
