For me all this is pretty simple, players have the opportunity to play in the NFL and to make big money in the process. League owners and Players Union have agreement on behavior off the field and substance abuse. You want to play abide by the rules if you choose to be a thug off the field and use illegal drugs or substance then only person you have to blame is yourself. Frankly these guys have it much easier than many professions where there are fewer chances for screw ups.

how much did you eat to get to 318lbs at 14?

A lot. 3 full meals a day plus two protein shakes before my morning and afternoon workouts. I was a fairly healthy 318. Don't get me wrong, I had a gut and man boobs, but I wasn't just a fat blob.
