Schefter retweet--Shanny to Big D?

This isn't Schefter reporting it, but retweeting from someone else. Though I doubt he would if he didn't have some thoughts that this is a possibility. Anyway, it was just a minute ago and thought I would share.

Last pre-season Shanny had a difference of opinion with Pat Bowlen concerning his responsibilities with being HC AND GM. Pat wanted to bring in a GM and take that responsibility off Shanny's shoulders. Not enough time in the day to do both. Shanny refused and the rest is history. This is according to AM 1600, a local affiliate of ESPN i heard............ FWIW.


Shanahan will not bow down to jed's meddling and jed won't have it for more than a few season's. Shall we waste another 3-4 years before it all blows up?

We have run out of viable options for a HC. Be sure to send jed a thank-you card. .

I don't know what to think. To be honest, I read somebody here mention Jim Harbaugh from Stanford and I have not been able to get that name out of my head.

Player known for a big heart....turned a major college program around...excellent pedigree with his brother and father....not a retread.

I can't get him out of my head. I would like to take a chance on him.

It did work before. Those new contracts are almost always worded so that the coach can get out for an NFL job. Same thing with Stoops, who would probably be Jerry's first college choice.

Harbaugh hates the Cowboys and the whole America's Team thing. At least he did as a player and he made no bones about it. Maybe he has matured and wants an NFL gig, but I'd rather not have someone who has no respect or a lack of appreciation for the history of this organization.
