Schottenheimer is 'pounding the table' not just for players - but for CHARACTER players.

Cool. Lets see how in tune Jerry aka "Father Flanigan" is with this, when he gets his annual chance to show the world his keene eye for college talent. James Pierce anybody?

Apparently Peirce is off the board we will see

If Pickens gets traded for... huge LOL in Schotty's face by Jerr-Bear.

Good to hear sound character is important to someone with the authority to be an influence. Whether there are enough others with a say in that remains to be seen. Let's hope it resonates with others with enough authority to help to make it actually happen.

Really?

Because he doesn't seem like the pounding type.

His demeanor seems to indicate he prefers taking it slow and easy at first, He'll let things unfold during the draft. Feel things out.. Find out Jerry's likes an dislikes.

Shotty seems patient.

He'll knows when it's time to get more intense. When the clock is ticking and the guy he wants is there to draft, that's when the pounding will start.

Jerry has his desires as well and if they don't come together on this....it could get messy.

Sometimes the risk has such significant value of where you are picking its worth it.

Deion's philosophy in Colorado smirks at the 'character' ideology.

Also, early 90s Cowboys had all sorts of non-character guys

So, which is it? Talent or character in football?
