Or Monte Kiffin. Or Mike Nolan. For that matter when was the last great DC we had here? Even the Dan Quinn defenses were gashed on the ground. Now it's the pass we can't stop.
 
The secondary is weak, especially the safeties, where we never use any quality draft picks on. It's even worse this year since we have virtually zero pass rush and they are being left to try and actually cover someone.
The run defense is suspect like expected also. We will be fortunate to win 6 or 7 games. But wouldn't surprise me since it would keep us out of the playoffs and out of prime draft position. No man's land here we come.

So basically the same team, beat up the weaker teams, oh wait this one was a squeak by of a bad team.
 
Looks like the secondary is not understanding their responsibilities in zone coverage. The secondary looked awful because they are not taking care off their responsibilities in the zone coverages called. The DC and secondary coach need to get this figured out or we will see the same.

They paid Markquese Bell and also have Juanyeh Thomas at safety. One of them has to be better than Malik Hooker, who was chasing shadows out there all afternoon today. I actually think Wilson is okay at strong safety.

Exactly. Zones are supposed to prevent deep passes. Instead there were wide open areas all game long.
 
More goofy, presumptuous arrogant talk. Not that the Cowboys don't already believe that they're good because they have a star on their helmet.
 
Yeah…right Shotty. Good teams don’t give up almost 500 yards through the air; they are able to get organized and kick a FG before the end of the 1st half; and don’t have to rely on a 64 yard FG to tie the game in regulation; moreover, the Giants had numerous penalties that wiped out big plays for them, or gave the Cowboys new life. Erase these penalties and maybe the game isn’t even close. If Russ Wilson doesn’t throw that poor pass that was intercepted in OT; I think chances were pretty good the Giants go down the field and kick a field goal to win.
As other posters have alluded, the Dallas offense is pretty good and they will be able to hang with bad teams like the Giants, but the defense is porous at best…if the Giants moved the ball practically at will against Dallas…what are the better teams going to do to the Dallas defense?

Actually, sometimes you do need to say it. Sometimes, the leader has to own it fully and completely and tell people that he believes and they should also.

The idea that there is only one type of leadership and it’s of the stoic variety, ignores the reality that has been displayed throughout history.
 
they have already won half their games !!
I still think they get at least 8 and possibly make the playoffs

thats right, he is trying to get the players to believe , not us fans.
