I've watched Blue since he played at Klein Cain. He was never...ever a football guy. The kid skipped his senior year in order to protect his body from injury. Ever heard of a high school football player forgoing his senior year? Yeah, me either. He was a 100 meter kid on the track team and a good one. The University of Texas and the Dallas Cowboys thought they could coach him into a football guy and both were wrong. I wish him well, but football isn't and has never been his schtick.

Deuce is a smart and good kid who tried his best in everything. He just had size limitations.

Also, Deuce fumbled like once in his entire college career whereas Blue was a fumble machine in college, despite Deuce getting 3x the carries. [edit - Deuce had 2 fumbles on 767 touches]

Not even remotely the same player. Deuce would be on a roster if he had Blue’s speed.
