Schotty has been figured out

After last night’s 23-13 loss at Green Bay, the league has Schotty and this scheme figured out.

The old formula to beat the Cowboys was simple: long, sustained drives that keep their offense off the field. That still works. But what’s new, and more damning, is that even when this offense is on the field, it no longer matters.

Schotty’s attack is pass-happy and one-dimensional.
They rank 31st in the NFL in rushing at just 76 yards per game.
Against Green Bay they managed 48.
Ten days earlier against Tampa Bay they had 50.
Meanwhile Dak is forced into nights like 54 pass attempts at a putrid 4.8 yards per attempt.
When you refuse to run the ball, defenses load the box, sit on the pass, and dare you to beat them.

Green Bay and Tampa Bay both did exactly that.

Look at the collapse. Early in the season they were scoring 30+.

The last two games? A combined 29 points.
They were shut out 17-0 in the first half last night for the first time since 2021.

Two interceptions. No identity. No sustained drives of their own.

Just a predictable, pass-first offense that can’t punish teams for selling out against the run.

Schotty is 9-13-1 as a head coach.

The same problems keep repeating. No commitment to the run game, soft early downs, and zero visible adjustments. Opponents know the formula now, control the clock and dare this offense to beat you through the air.

Both parts are working.

This team keeps showing up unprepared and unwilling. Winning a soft NFC East doesn’t fix any of it. It just means he gets another year while the rest of the league continues to prove they’ve already solved him.

I never understood why teams let Lamb and GP run slants all game.
Never understood why Schotty was even an option.

Still dont understand why they didnt blow this entire team up after that GB playoff loss.

Heck, I would have fired MM for saying "we will clean those up in the off-season" speaking about penalties after the first San Fran loss.

Can we stop saying how amazing Dak is against the blitz?

He throws in slow motion. He takes 2 or 3 steps and winds up his arm before he pushes the ball like a shotput.

Love faced the same pressure and just flicked the ball quick to receivers.

I don't know what Shotty should call.

Guys up front can't handle exotic rush packages, the QB isn't seeing the field well at all, the play caller has a hard-on for stop routes and slow developing plays, and the star-studded WR room simply isn't playing hard/well enough.

I don't even want to hear about safety help shutting down our receivers. I watch JSN routinely dominate teams being double and triple covered, and he's the only worthwhile pass catcher on his team.

They said the same thing about Garrett, Linehan and McCarthy. Schotty is just the latest guy who tried to create an offense for Dak and has failed miserably because his QB is the limiting factor for the offense.
We need to hire a coach that's for the team and not Dak

Meanwhile McCarthy is 4-2 in Pittsburgh and Moore has New Orleans playing inspired football. That team has very little talent and he is getting the most out of them.

Not that I wanted to keep either, it’s just further evidence that no one is going to succeed in Dallas.

Well you know why because Jerry doesn't rebuild.

Shotty was desperate.

They didnt take the hiring process serious because Jerry thinks he's the coach.

I don't know man Saints suck. Pittsburgh does too. Im sorry these guys aren't NFL coaches and it's not shocking t they both came from Dallas. How many coaches in Dallas come from the Shanahan tree? None. Or Andy Reid tree? Or Bellichek?
