Schotty has been figured out

This is the same offense since 2020. There's nothing different. Instead of hitch routes they run more plants.
it's the same O from 2016, there's a reason for it being the same, and why the 8-9 offensive coaches have been hired, to keep it the same for you know who, super elite Dak. Dak just keeps killing off O coaches.

Time to chime in. I 100% disagree that he has been figured out. If there was nothing there to begin with, then there was nothing to figure out....

Moore has the Saints going in the right direction. Flores is his own man. Miami scared off a lot of owners to him.
What right direction? They stink. And I don’t solely blame him but I don’t see anything he’s doing maybe I’m missing it. What is he doing? Their roster stinks.

Absolutely nothing like the offense in 2016. Is he killing off coaches or do the coaches stink? It’s not like he ran off McVay or Shanahan. He ran off Liehan and Garrett. Guys who should’ve never been hired.

Watched that whole game yesterday. They play with a purpose. They look like they want to be there and win. They don’t have a lot of good players but he is getting something out of them. I was surprised to see that.
Saints? I saw the whole game too. It was some weird play calling it was almost like they wanted them to come back. They nearly came
Back down 24 and it was JJ McCarthy.

what year you think Linehan and Garrett then Moore were it all goes back to Linehan, you know the guy from 2015 to 2019, same O till now, just different guys calling plays and Dak killing them off

What coach left here and had success?

They looked a lot more into playing than the the Dallas Cowboys do. Yes it’s a bad team, but he has them showing up. Our guys look like they want to be elsewhere.

His scheme can be fixed - it's not hard to add blitz beaters. I'm very concerned by his clock management, however, and few coaches ever fix that.

Showing up isn't the only qualification though. Guys showed up for Garrett and Shotty...I need more.

Ok fair, but by comparison to Shoddy, Illl take Moore as a HC all day, and that’s the one guy I didn’t want at all.

It’s actually not a fair comparison. Moore doesn’t have Jerry breathing down his neck and making bad personnel decisions.

Yeah im not familiar with the structure but I can't imagine it being as bad with Jerry.

Thinking about it, if they eventually hired Shoddy, and we know they spoke with Moore after MM turned them down, Moore probably did also.

This is what we are dealing with. The guys know it’s an awful work environment and a HC has no chance.

After last night’s 23-13 loss at Green Bay, the league has Schotty and this scheme figured out.

The old formula to beat the Cowboys was simple: long, sustained drives that keep their offense off the field. That still works. But what’s new, and more damning, is that even when this offense is on the field, it no longer matters.

Schotty’s attack is pass-happy and one-dimensional.
They rank 31st in the NFL in rushing at just 76 yards per game.
Against Green Bay they managed 48.
Ten days earlier against Tampa Bay they had 50.
Meanwhile Dak is forced into nights like 54 pass attempts at a putrid 4.8 yards per attempt.
When you refuse to run the ball, defenses load the box, sit on the pass, and dare you to beat them.

Green Bay and Tampa Bay both did exactly that.

Look at the collapse. Early in the season they were scoring 30+.

The last two games? A combined 29 points.
They were shut out 17-0 in the first half last night for the first time since 2021.

Two interceptions. No identity. No sustained drives of their own.

Just a predictable, pass-first offense that can’t punish teams for selling out against the run.

Schotty is 9-13-1 as a head coach.

The same problems keep repeating. No commitment to the run game, soft early downs, and zero visible adjustments. Opponents know the formula now, control the clock and dare this offense to beat you through the air.

Both parts are working.

This team keeps showing up unprepared and unwilling. Winning a soft NFC East doesn’t fix any of it. It just means he gets another year while the rest of the league continues to prove they’ve already solved him.
Looks like it was Tampa that exposed him. GB played Dak somewhat the same that Tampa did. Big problem was that Dallas has had no answer for it, and more teams will continue to do the same until Dallas can fix it.
