To me, anytime a guy has a great arm but he still gets drafted very late, there are obvious other issues. IMO you're almost better off with a late round guy with an average arm who has other intangibles that might translate to the pros.John Machota on GBAB nation a couple days ago was at the first OTA. According to him Milton's accuracy was still lacking. And you all know I wanted to move on from number 4 after his rookie deal expired in 2019.
Of course it is .......when/how was he supposed to correct it in such short timeJohn Machota on GBAB nation a couple days ago was at the first OTA. According to him Milton's accuracy was still lacking.
I agree with this but Milton's accuracy isn't as bad as some would have you believe. He had some solid games at Tenn, especially his final year.To me, anytime a guy has a great arm but he still gets drafted very late, there are obvious other issues. No way you fix that in such a short time. The question is really about next year. If it can or can’t be fixed we aren’t gonna know anytime soonOf course it is .......when/how was he supposed to correct it in such short time
Whether he's capable of significantly improving is yet to be seen, but yeah, if he was already accurate, he woulda have been a high pick and the Steelers wouldn't have traded him! I think every QB can become more accurate with coaching, I want to see how he handles pressure, how he reads defenses,,,Of course it is .......when/how was he supposed to correct it in such short time
Exactly....we won't truly know what this kid can do until he's challenged by live bullets ( regular season games ).No way you fix that in such a short time. The question is really about next year. If it can or can’t be fixed we aren’t gonna know anytime soon

Romo? Are you out of your mind? Romo probably wants nothing to do with the Cowboys anymore. @America's Cowboy. Romo done went Hollywood.Maybe Dak and Romo can help him change his mechanics, since they were always trying to change theirs.
Maybe Milton can make it work for himself.
I am very interested though is watching Milton in PS games. He should get a lot of snaps.
Providing the team gets over their infatuation with Grier.
I am thinking Week 1 or 2Milton will serve as a backup to starter Dak Prescott in Dallas. Prescott has missed 25 regular season games over the last five seasons, so there's a decent chance that Milton will be pressed into action at some point during the 2025 regular season.
Ya, think?

You never know. If the team is winning he will be fine. If they start losing games he will come down with something. He knows how to play the game.I am thinking Week 1 or 2
I am pretty sure Shotty had great things to say about Trance as well.
With the way that the coaches were able to fix Trey Lance here, there's a level of confidence they will do the same with MiltonNo way you fix that in such a short time. The question is really about next year. If it can or can’t be fixed we aren’t gonna know anytime soon
