Schotty post game locker room speech last night

Damn, I miss those days. 10 years ago I was starting my last year as head coach. I knew it would be my last....the Superintendent tried to talk me into coming back, I thought about it for about 5 minutes, but I knew I was burnt out. 90 hour weeks, four months out of the year, 14 years......i was done, but I do miss it, a lot. That's why I try not to take it to serious anymore. Talking to the team after a win.....one ofnthe best parts of the game. The brotherhood, the hugs, the Gatorade dumps, holding hands for the team prayer, the beers for the staff until 3am, knowing we had to be breaking down film in 4 hours......damn, good times

I know the pre season is not for opening up your playbook but that constant running between the tackles when the whole stadium is aware of what’s coming . Anthony Smith on one jet sweep got about 9 yards . Too bad he won’t be playing opening night .

Klayton Adams and Schott have to be working on wrinkles in the run game opening night .

I liked the HC hire when it went down . Thankfully not another older retread going on city 3 in the career ladder .

I’m glad he called out the ST the muffed punt and 11 penalties 103 yards . Keeping it real coach .
See, in theory, I’m glad he called it out.

…but on the other hand, he was the one who inflicted his pal Sorensen on our ST unit, so he can run his mouth til he’s blue in the face, but this is a him problem.

Less talk, more action.
