I still love Shotty but the first half was the worst I have seen from him. At start he should of punted. He should of challenged the running into the kicker and should have taken the 5 yards after that punt. The team responded however and showed they love this guy so can't complain too much.

They are, but I guess the players like them.

I'm skeptical that this can work long term, but I guess for now it's okay.

Fix that goal line offense and you can be as cheese wiz as you want.

I have zero issues with him focusing on celebrating the big W. It’s been an emotional and difficult few weeks. Let the guys feel good about persevering and overcoming a massive challenge

But to your point, I hope he dials them in quickly and addresses the myriad of problems that continue to hound this team.

There is a lot of work to do and a lot of bad habits to fix. They need a HC who will celebrate with them in the highs and discipline them when they hit the lows

Schotty has some positive traits for sure— but I have not been impressed with the way the team continues to struggle and get in its own way week in and week out

You can’t win in this league when you are own worst enemy.

Sean Peyton used to say this about Drew Brees....say he cleaned up a lot of bad plays he sent into the huddle from the sideline.

I'm hoping we can see significant improvement by the end of this year. But Schotty deserves at least 3 years to put this team together. His team is (at least) fighting for him, and that's half the battle. If Jerry can stay out of the way, l think Schotty can be a pretty good coach. I'm just glad we didn't get another re-tread coach. We needed a younger coach with some energy.
