I can only speak for myself when it comes to my personal experience with losing someone that meant the world to me. I'm sure there are others that suffer the pain that I experienced myself. Each incident is a personal experience, regardless of whatever others have gone through.

I feel sorry for anyone who suffers the hardship of such a loss. Begrudging others of a generous understanding doesn't strike me as respecting what such a sad loss it really is. Assuming it's done solely for the sympathy of others isn't necessarily a realistic conclusion to take.

I read she got wild at the bachelorette party, also heard she refused to sign the prenup…..anyone know what REALLY happened? Cuz if it’s either of those, good riddance.

Why? If you were worth 300 million, ur fiance is worth 10k…..you get married with no prenup…..she cheats and divorces after a few years…..u want to lose tens of millions of dollars to the cheater which she didn’t earn? Marriage settlements are BS….especially when one person is much much wealthier…it’s a contract where one person is REWARDED for breaking the contract, for getting the divorce….and the other person is absolutely punished financially for it. And then there is alimony and child support which are outrageous if one person if someone earns a lot more. 15k a month for child support?! That’s indentured servitude….baby mama cheats, ruins the relationship…and u have to pay all her bills for the next 18 years with 15k a month? Darn near no child needs anywhere near 15k a month. No way……there needs to be caps on alimony, child support, and divorce settlements if one person contributed like 99.9% of the money….too much abuse with this stuff.

If I feared something like that I wouldn't marry her. Of course I wouldn't have knocked her up either, twice.

I think people hope for the best, best intentions…..but u never REALLY know…countless examples of things going bad and one party is punished severely financially. I think prenups are fair when there’s a huge disparity of wealth….and signing one shows that the signer is reasonable in thinking “I’m not marrying you for the money, and I shouldn’t be untitled to half of what you had before I even met you, money I had zero to do with earning”.
Reasonable amounts for child support and alimony I get, but the amounts today are outrageous….literally forcing one person to work so the other gets sit back and live easy off it, while they aren’t even together anymore.

You never truly know some people, even if you think you do…..better to protect most of your assets just in case….things change over years….sometimes.

Here's my take. 40% of all marriages end in divorce. Guess how the rest end? So IMO, marriage is a lose/lose proposition. Best to avoid it.

TBH not going to read all the stuff. Schotty needs to learn to "read the room". How many here would love to Dak's problems, making millions a year and the two worst things going on in his life is Dallas fans 50/50 split on if he has it, and his babies' mama decided she would rather take the money (child support) now than deal alleged possible future humiliation on when/if Dak cheats. I will take those problems every day.
