I saw a bunch of mocks like shragers which had Booker at 12. Many thought that highly of this kid, not just Dallas. Let's just stop pretending that Dallas somehow whiffed or reached. It's simply not true. He is the highest rated pure guard in the draft. He was slated between 11-30. Could have went anywhere in that block. We got him just about where we should have, maybe just a tad too rich but that's ok. We got our guy we wanted.

Exactly. I don't think Fisher even mentioned this as a real guy we could draft. Fish might not have the contacts he claims he does. Shrags must have them.

Booker, a bully of a guard, could help add some much-needed beef to the Cowboys' line. Having had Zack Martin retire this offseason, there's going to be a desire to fill the interior with a plug-and-play lineman.

Everyone will be clamoring for the Cowboys to take a running back or receiver. Let's go guard, though. That's how I see it.
