Schuab Out Several Weeks

It's got to be pretty bad considering they are going into a bye week and he already declared Leinart the starter. This may hurt the Texans. I think they make the playoffs regardless, but Leinart won't win games in the playoffs.

Leinart? Really? They're screwed. Why would anyone even have Leinart on their team?

So this is my payoff for sticking with Andre Johnson all year on my fantasy team waiting for him to get healthy instead of cutting him?

Sweet.

Schaub is my starter. Cutler is my backup. Though I think Cutler is a good QB, just not a good QB for fantasy.

With that running game carrying them, it won't slow them down too much. However, it could be the difference between losing a few extra games and finishing with the #3 seed instead of the #1 or #2. I thought it would be a battle for the #1 seed between them and NE

Why do you say that?

Probably because for the first time ever, the Texans were actually looking like they were going to be better than us. :(

Come on rule in Dallas everyone has injury they should be expected to play to the same level. :D

They're not better than us. Yeah thet may have a better record, but who exactly have they beaten? They beat Pitt but that's their only quality win.

I heard Schaub might have a Lisfranc (sp?). I don't know what it is but it doesn't sound too good.

There go the Texans. And we needed them to beat the Falcons to help with wildcard chances (just in case we don't take the division;) )

Don't kid yourself. They are 7-3 despite playing in the tougher of the two conferences. They've beaten Pittsburgh and Tampa Bay (who isnt great but they crushed what was a playoff contender on the road) an crushed Tennessee who isnt a pushover. They have the #1 defense, #7 offense and the best turnover differential in the NFL.

Dude Tampa Bay sucks. Freeman is horribly overrated, Blount is not nearly as good as they were last year. AFC is not as tough as the NFC at least not this year with Manning out. Who has the two best teams record wise? The NFC with Green Bay and San Franscisco. Doesn't matter because they have no chance with Leinart as their starter.

Lissfranc joints are the joints where your metatarsal bones of the foot are joined to the midfoot. The metatarsals are the long bones that are hooked up to your toes.

The most common sports injury here is usually a ligamentous injury to joint during a dislocation/subluxation type of injury.

This is the same injury that our blocking TE Dan Campbell suffered back in 2004. It is also the same injury that Duce Staley had around 2000 or so.

If he has a major injury there he is likely done for the year.
