Scoring Nil

Well, as far as who was active this game, Zeke, Cooper, Beasley (though, he's really been annoying me lately), Collins, and Gallup when used.

Collins talent? Hes pretty much been a bust from being what was considered a first round pick. But my point is achieved. Virtually no talent at all on the Oline. Cooper and ZEke I love, but unless you have guys blocking and some kind of a scheme it no use.

We're not drafting a stud QB with the 60th pick. The only thing we can really do is refrain from extending Dak until either we know he's a franchise QB or we have a high draft pick. That means someone needs to hide Jerry's check book until 2020.

I think he and Garrett should have been fired long ago. Having said that, the plays are there. Can't fault coordinator when plays are getting people open but execution fails.

Tua is who I have in mind.

We all know this wasn't a shutout unwillingly. Could easily have made several FGs but chose to go for it several times on 4th down, which failed. Why? Look at the trenches, but Cowboys did play lazy and cocky.

Any team with legitimate hopes for a playoff run should not be getting shut-out at this point in the season. Colts defense is pretty good, but they are not shut down good.
It would be interesting to see how many teams that got blanked in December won playoff games in the modern pass friendly era.

Additionally, I would like for Josh McCown to replace Kellen Moore as QB coach.

Replace DAK.....and all our problems on offense will be solved.....now hit up Santa and ask if he has a quality QB for xmas for us!

I agree, and it's another reason that Linehan needs to go. The offence has been abysmal, and scoring nil shouldn't go unpunished.
Wait a minute there guys! that flubbed sure fire T.D. pass to the Fullback was a finely chiseled call of a play,,, as it caught Indy's entire fielded defense with their pants down,,,er,,, and ,,,our own fullback's as well,obviouslyo_O

I've said on this very thread that I'm not against getting a new QB. I'm just against giving Garrett or Linehan a top QB. Their issues extend FAR beyond Dak, and the talent that they destroyed, Garrett in particular, stretch before Dak got here.

I gotta' give COACH GARRETT the FEUDIAN nod of APPROVAL ( it resembles something like,:yourock:,,,er,,,that)

In the fuzzy big marble sack dept.,for the "daring-do& devils may care, cuz' He damn sure don't" 4th down command decision calls here lately, as I've often(,,,albeit of a most recent ponderation) fancied the thought he'd finally started pulling it all together in the field general department,,, cuz' there ain't a single jive *** poster authorized around here, of equal to/ greater than, HIS COACHING CLOUT to capably question HIS calls & even remotely believe they are of EQUAL worthy MERITo_O

* just putting it out there, Fellers!:D

Yup, and it gives us a chance to see how Dak does with a new coach before we decide that QB is a problem for us.

Replacing the quarterback is a very important task. Top quarterbacks like Brady or Rodgers don't grow on trees. I think that Dak is a decent quarterback, but he's not much more than a bus driver. If we do replace Dak, then we must be sure that the next QB is more than a bus driver. Otherwise, we will be stuck quarterback hunting, and I think that we all remember those years. I think Tua is going to be elite, but I don't know that for sure. I think that replacing the coach is more appropriate at the moment and seeing if it helps Dak. If not, then get a new QB. If it helps Dak, then brilliant.

In today's NFL with the talent that our offence has, the result yesterday should be the end of Linehan at a minimum. Dak was atrocious, but the Colts seemed like they were in our huddle all game long. I am willing to wait on sacking Garrett until the off-season, barring a collapse or a repeat of yesterday. As for Linehan, I think that he should be sacked. The play calling was embarrassingly bad, and we deserved to have a score of nil with the calling. The Vikings sacked their OC, and it worked brilliantly for them against Miami. Jerry should make an example out of Linehan to show that yesterday's match will not be tolerated.

Dallas had long drives especially in the 1st half but stalled out in the redzone, sorry did not look like they were in our huddle knowing the play, if they were we would not have gone on those long drives.
