It's bizarre to me that the SOLB, Scott Fujita has been getting most of the snaps there the last few weeks, hasn't been blitzing much this season.
I thought the whole idea behind the 3-4 front was to confuse offenses on which players were coming after the quarterback. Using the SOLB primarily in coverage takes away from one of the principles of the defense.
I hope to see Mr. Fuji blitzing more on early downs in coming games and for Kevin Burnett to see more time as well, likely in the nickel defense, IMO.
