  • I noticed in Monday's practice where Darren McFadden had another technique issue on a blitz pickup. On this particular snap, Sean Lee was able to break him down to the point where McFadden had trouble even reacting. As Prescott delivered the ball to Dez Bryant, Lee was standing right there in his face and would have likely finished the play. McFadden generally is outstanding with his technique, but this is something that's happened more than once in this camp.
  • Outstanding awareness by Maliek Collins to read the pull by Jonathan Cooper to his left. He stayed in his hip pocket and beat the block back from Travis Frederick. Collins is able to penetrate up the field and disrupt the inside handoff to Rod Smith, who had nowhere to go with Collins right there on top of him.

Collins will get consistent double teams from all teams, others have to step up especially Paea to disrupt the pocket .

Dumb question: Is Cedric Thornton still on the team? If so, he's been beyond quiet this offseason.
Old boy is there and will probably remain a quiet, overpaid signing. My flag has Maliek Collins all over it. Thornton is an afterthought and will be off the books soon enough.
Hopefully he'll make some splash plays for our team this year at just the right times.

I was actually hoping he had been cut. Dude has done absolutely nothing since joining the team. I hope he can make a play or two before he leaves.

Paea will be a player for this team. He may not get the stats, but he'll get the hockey assists on plays. He's going to be a real problem for teams.

Exciting to hear our rookie CBs may even see the field before regular season! I only hope they are fast learners and can contribute heavily in the coming games.

Collins has me really excited. I hope his regular season lives up to his camp performance.

He' a friggin' BEAST and I don't mean just physically. He's pissed off (and rightfully so) about being robbed in the draft a couple years ago. That was a travesty and he's on a mission IMO. If we are smart, we'll find some way to pay him long term if he plays as well as a lot of us think he will this season, and can stay healthy.

Just like Terrell McClain was last year. We let him go and he signs with the Commanders, he was very valuable last year. If Paea can fill his vacancy we made a great bargain.

He's been on the hammy field, with lots of company.

This is a sign of inadequate conditioning coming into camp.

You've likely noticed how many of our rookies have also had hamstring problems. It's not because they're totally out of shape; they may have actually been lifting and running every day. The problem is that their training and workout routines do not match the level of activity required at an NFL camp, so they get overuse syndromes. Unfortunately, that takes several weeks to resolve and may be a bother all season.

For any of you that have had that or something similar like tennis elbow, you've experienced the long road to recovery.

I watched that pseudo-fight Saturday night, and I have developed a mild case of case of Jameson elbow.
