Scout Inc's Final Big Board--stacked by round

Scout Inc puts out a stacked draft board more in the format that many NFL teams use.

They have every postion listed and the players stacked top down by rank
They do this for each round.

They had (according to their rankings)

• 27 players ranked with a 1st round grade
• 38 players with a 2nd round grade
• 49 players with a 3rd round grade
• 42 players with a 4th round grade

and so on

It really shows where the meat of the draft is overall and what rounds are loaded the most at certain postions.

It shows OT loaded in Rd 1 but light in Rd 2, WR loaded in Rd 2 and 3 , RB in Rd 3 and 5, etc

It is the very best format, imo.

It's another ESPN insider thing. I'll post the link but understand most may not have that access.

Just from a pure talent evaluation, I think those are not first round grade material.

Now as far as pragmatically, that is different.

Well, Dallas is rumored to have only 15-17 graded as 1st rounders, so relatively speaking, they agree.

I think what this illustrates is that a team with several picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds could clobber this draft.

That's not a suggestion to trade down--certainly not if one of those 15-17 players is sitting right there for you in the 1st--but it shows why a team would not be crazy if they did it.
