I just got Scout Magazine in today. I can give their entire 1st round mock draft if anyone wants it.

Scout.com's NFL Expert Chris Steuber

#22-Dallas trades w/ Miami for their second and third round picks so Miami can take Brohm.

#28-RB Jamaal Charles. Dallas, in a surprise move, passes on Felix Jones for Charles.

Also, Roy Philpot made some comments on his hopes for the draft.

Biggest Need: CB, WR, backup RB
His Dream Pick: Darren McFadden
Please don't pick: Dan Connor,LB, Penn State
Fan Dream Pick: Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas
Best draft pick ever: Emmitt Smith, RB, Florida, R1
Worst draft pick ever: Shante Carver, DE, Arizona State, R1
Comments: The Cowboys need to find a starting cornerback, wide receiver, and backup running back in the draft.

So, the Cowboys would be out of the first round with a backup running back to show for it?

Oy.....

That is incorrect.

The best draft pick ever for the Cowboys was either 1961 1st round pick (Bob Lilly) or 1985 5th round pick (Herschel Walker.)

When they paid you to take that magazine, did they require you to read it, or can you just line the bird cage with it right away?

I'd vote for taking Roger Staubach in the 10th round in '64.

Not even close. At least the guy played and contributed. Was he a disappointment? sure. Worst ever? NO.

I can see us trading 22nd for Miami's two second round picks(32nd and 57th). I would take Charles with the 33rd pick. Hopefully trade 28th for RW and get PacMan for the 5th round pick. Then with our 2nd we can pick BAP

I agree P Pot stinks. The other dude doesn't say what Miami 2nd round pick. They have #32 and #57. Their 3rd is #64. If we got #32 and #64 for #22 that would be a good deal. # 57 and #64 is a bad deal.

That has to be the best way not to get the maximum out of having two #1 picks. Trading #22 and not getting premium return is rediculous and then picking Charles in the first round just looks like a huge reach. If thats the plan, then go ahead and gamble on McFadden in a trade up. Geez.

Unless you know exactly how the Cowboys have players ranked, you're just guessing as to what value #22 really has to the franchise.

This is called a messageboard if you don't like what you read then you can always leave. This is called my opinion. Now if you can actually defend this mock, fine. But thats not what you did. You actually complained about it too, which doesn't make sense for your post to me.(edit I see you like it if you get the higher pick of theirs) Really, its not getting very good value either way you slice it.

Oh wipe your tears, you sound like a little girl with your "This is called a messageboard if you don't like what you read then you can always leave". It's called my opinion as well Einstein, and FYI #22 is worth 780 points and #32 & #64 860. That's 80 points, or the equivalent of an early 4th.

Someone actually bought it for me as a gift.:D I read it for the laughs cause that's all it's worth, and it makes good toilet paper.

Both of those are fine choices, no question, but I gotta disagree with you on the Best Pick Ever status.

Best pick ever, to me, was the 1964 10th round pick of Roger Staubach. Anyway, that's what I think.

;)

28 for Miami's 2nd and 4th would actually make more sense. If we did it that way, we could probably get Detroit to trade Roy for that 2nd, which in reality is a 1st as NE lost there's.
