Yes i do. If u really want that player, make sure u get him. He had the draft picks to move up and get him but he got cute and waited. Is that simple enough?

No it's not that simple. You don't know that a "reasonable" trade was availible to make. How do you know any team was willing to trade with the Cowboys at that point?

I am a huge proponent of moving around the draft. Up and down to make your picks fit who you want.

I love when the Cowboys make a move up just a few spot to snag someone, because I know its a player they really wanted. When they trade down, I know they had no one they really wanted and are looking to maximize value.

But when they stay put and draft someone, you never really know. There are few if any real signs it worked out just like they planned. Unless of course that pick filled a huge need and was a player many had speculated they would go for.

Either way, sometimes you have to roll the dice and hope your guy falls.
