Landon Collins, Alabama
Measurables: 6-0, 228, 4.53
Stats:106 tackles, 3 interceptions, 2 fumble recoveries
Scouts Say: "Where did (HaHa) Clinton-Dix go last year (21)? I have the same grade on them. He's OK, solid, not sure-fire great. He's smart and physical. He's the best by far.'' ..."He's good. He makes plays. And he can really tackle. Solid first-round pick.'' ..."He plays faster than he times. He has great instincts and ball skills. He's excellent in zone coverage and can play man.'' ..."Very smart and productive, great in run support and not bad in coverage. He doesn't miss many tackles.''

Damarious Randall, Arizona State
Measurables: 5-11, 196
Stats: 101 tackles, 3 interceptions
Scouts Say: "He's one of these guys gaining a lot of steam now. Where was it during the season? Because there's nobody else he's going to get drafted higher than he should.'' ..."A little smaller than you would like, but he's productive. His Combine performance helped his stock, and that always scares me.'' ..."We have him as the second best (safety). He's OK. I don't think he'll be able to start right away.'' ..."I'm not as high on him as some people. He's got short arms (30 1/4) and small hands ( 8 1/2). He was protuctive in school, but . . .''

Jordan Richards, Stanford
Measurables: 5-11, 211, 4.65
Stats: 79 tackles, 3 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles
Scouts Say: "Just a great kid and smart as they come.

I think Rowe and Shaw are the 2 best FS's in the class, but they will probably have to fail at CB before a team fully commits to them there. The idea of the big CB has become too enticing

Its the same every year. Strong cornerback class, weak safety class.

James Sample, Louisville
Measurables:
6-2, 209, 4.56
Stats: 88 tackles, four interceptions
Scouts Say: "He might be one of the sleepers. I like this guy a little bit. You coach him right, you might have something pretty good down the line.'' ..."He's pretty tough. He likes to hit. He'll be a good special teams player first.'' ..."Started at Washington, then went to JUCO and ended up at Louisville. He's bounced around. He's got some good games on tape. There's something to work with there.'' ..."This guy might be pretty good. He's athletic and he's tough. He's just not ready yet.''

Wish we had him on the radar.
