George Selvie has shoulder surgery

IRVING, Texas -- Add defensive end
George Selvie to the list of
Dallas Cowboys recovering from offseason surgery.
Selvie had left shoulder surgery but is expected to be ready to go for the team’s offseason conditioning program.
Selvie signed with the Cowboys after training camp began and started every game. He finished with 39 tackles and seven sacks for the season. He also had seven tackles for loss, 22 quarterback pressures, two pass deflections, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
In the first 36 games of his career with the
St. Louis Rams,
Carolina Panthers and
Jacksonville Jaguars, he had 57 tackles, three sacks and six tackles for loss.
He joins right tackle
Doug Free (ankle) and wide receiver
Dwayne Harris (shoulder) as players known to have had postseason operations.
