That's a different take. But an interesting one, even if I'm not sold on the Long pick.

I don't think the Cowboys would draft Commings. He has a domestic Violence Conviction in his past. He's probably in the Box but who knows? Also, I don't love the way he plays the running game. Doesn't like to stick his shoulder in and make tackles.

I think a big reason for bringing guys to Valley Ranch is to further evaluate their mental-makeup. I would expect them to bring in any guys that have borderline character issues in order to get a very accurate assessment of their mental-makeup.

Agree that they are interested in the player before the visit. My point is that some Valley Ranch visitors could fail the evaluation during the visit.
