With the first round in the books, there remains an ample amount of talent left on Day 2. We have two remaining players who carry first-round grades still on the board in Virginia OT Morgan Moses and USC WR Marqise Lee, both of whom should come off the board quickly at the top of the second round.

Teams should also still be able to find plenty of depth at wide receiver, cornerback and offensive line, while the running back position should start to bring strong value and return in Rounds 2 through 4.

Below is a second-round mock draft headlined by three quarterbacks and seven wide receivers.

Pick 1 (33 overall) Texans -- QB Jimmy Garoppolo, Eastern Illinois
2 (34) Commanders -- OT Morgan Moses, Virginia
3 (35) Browns -- WR Marqise Lee, USC
4 (36) Raiders -- QB Derek Carr, Fresno State
5 (37) Falcons -- DE Demarcus Lawrence, Boise State
6 (38) Buccaneers -- OG Xavier Su'a-Filo, UCLA
7 (39) Jaguars -- WR Jordan Matthews, Vanderbilt
8 (40) Seahawks (from Vikings)-- OLB Jeremiah Attaochu, Georgia Tech
9 (41) Bills -- OT Cyrus Kouandjio, Alabama
10 (42) Titans -- RB Carlos Hyde, Ohio State
11 (43) Giants -- OT Joel Bitonio, Nevada
12 (44) Rams -- FS Terrence Brooks, Florida State
13 (45) Lions -- DE Kony Ealy, Missouri
14 (46) Steelers -- DE Stephon Tuitt, Notre Dame
15 (47) Cowboys -- DT Ra'Shede Hageman, Minnesota
16 (48) Ravens -- CB Stan Jean-Baptiste, Nebraska
17 (49) Jets -- WR Cody Latimer, Indiana
18 (50) Dolphins -- WR Davante Adams, Fresno State
19 (51) Bears -- DT Timmy Jernigan, Florida State
20 (52) Cardinals -- QB AJ McCarron, Alabama
21 (53) Packers -- TE Jace Amaro, Texas Tech
22 (54) Eagles -- WR Allen Robinson, Penn State
23 (55) Bengals -- OC Marcus Martin, USC
24 (56) 49ers (from Chiefs) -- DE Brent Urban, Virginia
25 (57) Chargers -- NT Louis Nix III, Notre Dame
26 (58) Saints -- DE Scott Crichton, Oregon State
27 (59) Colts -- OC Weston Richburg, Colorado State
28 (60) Panthers -- DS Lamrcus Joyner, Florida State
29 (61) 49ers -- WR Martavis Bryant, Clemson
30 (62) Patriots -- RB Bishop Sankey, Washington
31 (63) Broncos -- WR Jarvis Landry, LSU
32 (64) Seahawks -- DC Keith McGill, Utah

I like Hageman pick. Would target Kareem Martin in the 3rd even if I had to trade up

I'd guess Dallas would more likely take Jernigan or Crichton instead of Hageman if it fell like that.

I'd love Hageman, Jernigan or Crichton.

Looking at this draft, the second round is stacked with talent.

Those make a lot of sense.
  • I forgot about Atlanta needing a pass rusher badly. That's a good fit for Lawrence.
  • Houston may try to trade down slightly. But by now they may be panicking...man, Minny hosed them. Plus, I guess, TB may like Garoppolo
  • Dang Commanders are getting just who they want.
  • Raiders wait all the to 2nd round and still get their favorite QB
  • Carlos Hyde would be a great fit in Tennessee.
  • Dallas should be happy to get to choose from Hageman, Jernigan, and Crichton at 47.

Timmy Jernigan should be the pick. I can't see Dallas avoiding him if he is there.

He has too much talent.

It would be fantastic to see Houston get Carr.

We should have some good options in the second. Jernigan, Lawrence, Hageman, etc.

Said it in chat last night. Have to figure Texans would be scared of taking another Carr at QB.

They're in an awkward position. They really need a QB and the one that is probably the next best available to them is the brother of their biggest draft bust in their brief history.

I agree. No way do they go there.

There are 3-5 guys on the DL I would love to see them take at 47. Which is even enough that if 3-4 of those guys were there at 47, I'd consider a trade for a few spots if my board dictated it.

As much as Donald was my pet cat, him not being there, taking Martin, and then getting a good DL starter in the second would be AMAZING.

I'd prefer Crichton in that situation.

Decent player, decent athlete, great motor > decent player, great athlete, lazy motor

Commanders - as you know - had no number 1 pick. They are playing from behind.
I feel the along with Giants will be looking for O line help.

Pretty much my feeling as well. I don't think Lawrence is necessarily lazy, but I don't see him as crazy engaged either.
