Saftey, DL, CB, OL, CB, WR, not necessarily in that order. But with all those TE's maybe Jerry might not be be able to help himself.

The bolded players have been identified by various folks here as their potential pick at 51 and are still available in round three. Here's hoping for some happier faces after round five.

There is a lot Dallas can do with 2 3's, 3 4's and 3 5's. They can parlay these eight picks and the 4 in the late rounds to come away with at least 4 or 5 good players and 2-4 long shots.

Everyone's favorite project, James Casey from Rice is still out there as well. I just didn't add the Tights Ends since it isn't a high draft priority.

The way this team is set up it looks like only 3-4 rookies could make a difference outside of special teams. DJ Moore is a good corner and return man. Better than Ball, I would think. I like the other bolded players.

I just don't see a lot of talent left. But then, no one knew who Orlando Scandrick was at this time last year.

Let's hope the folks Jerry pays to do this stuff know better!

Yeah, but Casey isn't just a TE. He's an athlete. Drew Boylhart (thehuddlereport.com) believes Casey may be the BEST athlete in the entire draft and rates him as a 1st round talent. The only negative against him is he's been a jack of all trades player, and hasn't had the chance to learn just one position. Once he does, he will have a major impact. This guys athleticism is scary.

It wasn't just Scandrick either. Choice became a solid player as well.

If you draft football players you'll be fine. The knock on this draft wasn't that it didn't have players it was that it didn't have the top end guys.

I'd rather have whoever we draft at 69 than Bey I can tell you that for certain. That dude is a certified bust before he even puts on the Oakland uniform.

The Cowboys will get a lot of really good football players because they have a ton of picks. And by the end of training camp a few will have taken hold and become board favorites. By the end of next year no one will be crying about this as a bad draft.

This is all so because the odds are astronomically in your favor when you have 12 picks.

Until this version of a Cowboys FO lead by Tom C. messes up they get my full support.

That matters exactly zero unless a team feels they can find him a position and develop him there. Very few NFL players have been as athletic as Alexander Wright but he was a waste if a uniform. And of course there are tons of other examples.

Casey is a fit if someone wants an h-back. Would it shock me if we drafted him to be our h-back? No. He'd be a fullback type who also played some split out. But unless the team feels he fits a specific position and they have a plan for him drafting him would be silly.

Perhaps he replaces Rodney Hannah as our # 3 TE?

i think james casey is a very realistic possibility with one of the 2 3rd round picks because the cowboys view him as an h-back and not a te and i know they went and had a private workout with him a couple of days ago.

Louis Murphy is a interesting player.

He looks to have all the tools but has the Florida WR label on him.
