How is it possible for a team to be so bad at defending screens?

I think half of us could see them coming, but the cowboys just can not stop them. It’s infuriating.

This is a years-long issue.

Gives you a nauseous feeling because you just know they’re about to pick up 8-10 yards before even being touched. Over and over again.
Poor linebacker play. We need three new ones and I hate to say that about Jaylon.
 
I was surprised we didn’t see more screens. GB always ran them up there.

I’m questioning just how much of a “hybrid” this playbook is. I didn’t see any McCarthy influence aside from Zeke playing out wide a little more.

I wonder how much Covid and not having a training camp affected our offense? Would the McCarthy influence be bigger if it had been a normal year? Will McCarthy add in more of his stuff as the year progresses?
