i thought the whole point of bringing in kosier was so we could have more ability to pull with our o-line. did we even run one screen yesterday? or how many times did we ever try to throw the ball deep? i just think our gameplan was way too conservative, parcells it is time to open it up a little.

I agree, we could have stopped the pass rush by running a few screens.

If I recall on JJ's long run on the left side Kozier pulled and sealed the corner for JJ. Looked good to me.

And we ran that play ONCE! Great playcalling! :laugh1:

Yes, we should have run wide more often instead of smack into the strength of their defense.

Plus no reverse, I thought a reverse to Glenn would work against their aggressive defense.

They had no answer for Owens either, .. throw to him more often.

IIRC, we attempted at least one screen. On that one, Bledsoe threw the ball at Barber's feet because the Jags' D had sniffed it out.

How about a quick WR screen to Owens? The CB was playing off with a nice cushion several times. Line Fasano or Witten up on the same side as TO, throw the quick screen on a 1-step drop, and allow him to cut across the middle behind the TEs block.

How's that for Monday Morning Arm-Chair QB'ing?

Sure did.

Keep going with a play until they prove they can stop it... then fake the play and blast them with something else..... reminds me of the movie... "Italian Job" - "no imagination"
