The players were surprised that was coming from a guy many people respect. I could see how that would motivate the guys. I still like Dungy and he probably won't repeat that statement again, I hope. :)

True, there have been many things said from many in the media including the Dallas media that has been much harsher than what Dungy said.

I understand the joy of being able to throw something back in to Dungy's face after he said the 'boys had NO chance. But as some have pointed out, there weren't too many here that were disagreeing with him last week. I think if we're honest with ourselves that most of us will admit that we had little expectations of the upset win that we witnessed. I know that my expectations were low although that didn't keep me from hoping for a victory and rooting for our team.

I still have a lot of respect for Tony as a human being although I'm very glad to see him eat some crow on this one. I personally know someone who lost his fiance to suicide a couple of years ago and Tony took the time to counsel with him. This was while he was still coaching and wasn't too long after the time he lost his own son. I still think the guy is a class human being but I'm glad he was wrong about this game.

Also kudos to the 'boys for a pleasant surprise!

I think a lot of people see the TO vs Romo saga as "Outspoken black man is made the scapegoat to protect white golden boy".

In fact, listening to Dallas radio callers all offseason, I don't think so ... I know so.

So now "a lot" of people who supported Terrell Owens did so because he was black and Tony Romo was "a white golden boy"?

And now you extend this perceived bigotry to Tony Dungy just because he doesn't like Tony Romo?

This kind of reminds me of the old "If you don't support Quincy Carter then you are a racists" days and that was moronic just like what you are implying.

As a minority and big time supporter of Tony Romo, I hope I never ever sour on him, wouldn't want people thinking i'm doing it because he's White :).
