Does anyone know if the scrimmage is being televised on cowboys website?

Sunday at about 4:30 they are going to show the scrimmage on the cowboys web site. Mickey and Brad are going to call it. Now dont expect a whole lot, its going to be barely more than a walk through.

Is that 4:30 in Oxnard or Texas

Is there a way to mute Mickey?

Is there anyone who likes Mickey? I don't think i've every heard or seen his name mentioned followed by something positive

I don't think so....

He reminds me of a guy who talks a lot, but doesn't really have much to say. His football knowledge is subpar even though he's been around it for a long time.

I like him, overall. Calling games he's not too interesting.

I noticed that about him. For a guy who's been around the NFL and this team for approximately 30 years he doesn't know much about the game or other players around the league.

There have been several times while listening to his show that I've been left astonished at his lack of knowledge about well known non-Cowboy players or other aspects of the game.

I don't expect him to be able to break down X's and O's but you'd think he'd accidentally absorb some of this information just from being around the sport for so long.

Granted he's supposed to concentrate on the Cowboys because that's where he makes his money, but part of his job is also covering Cowboy opponents. He's been sub par in that department.

Mickey used to be a legit journalist. Now he's a professional apologist.

I'll never forget when he basically blamed a losing record under Campo on the loss of tight end Mike Lucky.

..now it's really getting tediuos that Mick gets attacked.

Look, we've all listened to him for decades..he's got a job to do for Jerrah and he does it pretty well. Yep, you have to filter what he says as he gets a little too "spinny" with some of the positions he takes..

..but that's to be expected when his paycheck comes from the Cowboys more or less.

I like him. He's a homer but he reports some interesting tidbits from time to time.

Hey..could be worst. We could have Peter King from SI as our beat-writer. OMG.

:)

I like Mickey...actually a lot of people do.
Just people on here don't like him. It's the "in" thing to do to be accepted is to dislike him. LOL.

I have no issue with Mickey .. The guy is paid to be a Cowboys happy fan and follows his directive everyday..OK..Now I pretty much hate him..

I don't mind Mickey if you understand where he's coming from. He's the definition of a homer but that's pretty much his job. He does have good insight if you know what to listen for. He's not too good at being a TV personality.
