Scummy websites keep trying to install Google Widevine

Google Widevine is a bunch of DRM crap, and I don't want it in any of my browsers. This little popup keeps showing up on numerous sites (not on CZ), "Google wants to install Widevine." Don't let it. There's no benefit for installing their spyware plugin. It happens in Chrome and in Chrome-based browsers like Brave, Opera, and Vivialdi. I'd like to set my browsers to just automatically reject it without having to bug me. The popup happens all the time, and I keep click on on "block".

Same. Never heard of it. Maybe it "pops up" on fetish sites.

Maybe you already have some kind of virus. That shouldn't be happening. You should probably check with malware bytes and avast scans.
