I'm not sure it's so much a mandate as it is the fact that it is the ONLY game CBS has in their rotation at 4PM Sunday. The other two out of the three are on FOX and CBS owns the double header this weekend.

Regardless, I can sit at home for once and watch it.

I fully expect us to get Dick Enberg and Dan Fouts, both who I HATE WITH A PASSION. Enberg butchers names almost as bad as Bryant Gumbel, and to top that off he's an ****** in person (met him on a journalism field trip). And Fouts is a big time Charger homer.

I used to like Dick but he has lost it and now he is going to be doing baseball for the Padres. I don't know about that. I am surprised that Enberg was that way to you he doesn't seem that way but that goes to show you never know about a person. Fouts I have never liked.

yeah they just announced this week that he would be quitting CBS and doing Padre games. Very weird. They must be trying to compete with the Dodgers and Vin Scully.

Doesn't matter how the media wants to spin how terrible the Cowboys are. (Though for some strange reason, I've been hearing more praise than anything else).

This game is a game between the hottest team in the AFC besides the Colts and the division leading Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.

This is a huge, huge game for both squads.

My point is it seems like everytime Buck-Aikman do our games this season we either lose or it is a very close win.

Which I explained to you - they do the best games, when we play the best teams, which means by definition we are not likely to win as many - if they did the worst games, then we would "always seem to do better" when they called it. Rather, they do the games when we face the best competition.

Noticing that we have a tough game when they call it is like noticing the sun comes up when the rooster crows.

Perhaps we need a playpen and ballpit and we can segregate the serious from the unserious around these parts...
