How is your board looking? I looks like there is a consensous starting to come together as far as top four players on Cowboys board:

Cox
Barron
Decastro
Brockers

If these are the same four you are hearing what order are you hearing them in? If different players, can you list them and what order you are hearing them in?

Thanks guys!!!

I think you hit on the first 3 of 4 that are suspected to be available if all plays out as planned. Not sure Brockers is the 4th. At this point I would bet one of the 1st 3 you mentioned will be the pick unless someone unexpected drops and that does not include Coples.

I'm really getting Barron at this point. If a bunch of players are on the board when the Cowboys pick, then I think we'll try and trade down, but if it's only Barron and say Brockers, we'll just stay put and take Barron.

Gotta believe it's Barron. Don't think Cox drops to 14. Won't be surprised if someone goes up and gets Barron, ie Jets or Chicago.

Nice! Do you know who the 4th person is? I think they really want Cox but Carolina might take him. I still think Carolina loves Brockers. Thanks Sdogo.

Question if Ingram falls to the Cowboys do they take him

Don't think Ingram fits into the Cowboys' plans. He's versatile, but will he be elite at one position? I think he's better suited for a 4-3 IMO. Too undersized to play SOLB in a 34.

I can't say for certain. I would be hesitant to even put together a list simply because I don't think it would be much different then what has been suggested. I will say no matter who you put there it's probably going to be a distant 4th.

IMO Cox, DeCastro and Barron are head and shoulders above anyone else on the list. The question I believe now is if two or all 3 are available does Dallas trade down or who do they like more then the other two. At this point, I'm not 100% sure on that answer although I'm leaning towards Barron.

He is explosive and a pressure guy on the edge which is badly needed on this team to go with Ware.. There is a chance he is not even available but if he gets past a few teams he could slide because most see him as a 3-4 olb prospect and not a 4-3 prospect.

I disagree, I think he is more undersized to play 4-3 DE than he is to play 3-4 OLB. Lamarr Woodley is 6'2"; James Harrison is just 6 feet;

i think the pick will be barron becasue there are still good DE and OG options in rounds 2 and 3 and basically none for S

if barron is there, it would take a lot to get us to trade down becasue philly is likely to take either cox or barron as well

Too small for 34 OLB but is big enough for a 43 DE? That doesn't make sense.

Or are you considering him as a 43 OLB?... because he's definitely not a 43 OLB. His skills would be wasted in that position.

I'm leaning towards Barron for 2 reasons. First, we need real talent and leadership in the secondary, and second, if we don't take him then Philly will right after us. I'd hate to see them shore up their secondary to defeat our receivers while we pass up and continue to leave our secondary vulnerable.
