If you had to guess to the best of your ability, how would you rank the top 5 prospects in order they are targeting round 1?

I'm not Hostile or SDogo obviously, but my best guess would be the following;

1. Fletcher Cox
2. Mark Barron
3. David DeCastro
4. Dontari Poe
5. Michael Brockers

In regards to players that have the possibility of being there at 14 or overall?

Close, I think it's more like:

1. Mark Barron
2. Fletcher Cox
3. Quinton Coples
4. Michael Brockers
5. David DeCastro

They really want that 3-4 DE.

I really hope Barron is the pick. I think a 3/4 End can be had in the 2nd or 3rd round, and still be better than what they have.

Coples is interesting. I've thought for the longest time he wouldn't get passed JAX at #7 and now it's possible he falls to us. He dominated the practices at the Senior Bowl game and was outstanding in the game. His talent might be too good to pass up at #14.

One of Dallas writers, either Bob Sturm or Bill Jones said their is NO way the cowboys are drafting Quinton Coples no matter how far he falls

I dont see it either. Is he a good fit for this system?

I'm not either but I like this list at 14 although I might list DeCastro and Barron as 2a and 2b

Just don't agree? Doesnt seem Coples has the passion Garrett is looking for in players. But talent he certainly has

1. Mark Barron (they would like to trade down 2 or 3 spots and still land him)
2. Fletcher Cox
3. David DeCastro
4. Mercilus Whitney
5. Michael Brockers

So Dallas is considering Coples?

If he is there at 14 they will.

I think the first 2 are pretty much set in stone.

Barron/Cox

I guess you can debate the order but I believe Barron over Cox

The next 3 you can put in a hat and pull them out, I think it's that close.

I'm surprised to see Whitney on Hos's list. From what I'm gathering he's not really an option at 14 but someone they would look at later down the line.

I actually would probably switch Coples and Mercilus.

My list would be.

1. DeCastro
2. Glenn
3. Konz
4. Barron
5. Cox

You not that high on Barron/Cox or just want OL with that pick the most?

this would be the way i'd go also at least with the top 3....however i just have a feeling if we did try to trade down say 3 spots that Philly and NYJ would both be threats to snag Barron.
