Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Seattle Seahawks have traded DE Darryl Tapp to the Philadelphia Eagles for LB/DE Chris Clemons and an undisclosed draft pick.

Updating a previous item, the Philadelphia Eagles announced they sent a fourth-round draft pick in the 2010 NFL Draft acquired from the New York Jets in exchange for DE Darryl Tapp.

It's pretty bad when Pete Carroll gets the better of you.

It was a strange trade for the Eagles.

Tapp is an okay situational rusher, but is he really going to be the starter at left end for them? You would think they want to get bigger, not smaller on their line which is already undersized as it is.

I read a couple of Eagles boards and while they were happy to get rid of a huge bust in Clemons, they did not seem to like giving up the choice.

This might make them less likely to go after an end in the first round as many are predicting they would go.
