Seahawks and Broncos

I really think their OL play has something to do with their poor QB play. Great personnel for their run blocking scheme, below average personnel for pass protection.

Due to their zone blocking scheme and how they run it, it's pretty easy to pick up whether it's a run or a pass very quickly for the defense. When most teams run the ball effectively, it sets up the pass, not so for Denver. They could gain 300 on the ground and DLinemen will still know every time when they can and cannot pressure the QB.

Interesting take. They do seem to suffer on pass protection. Seems like somebody is always in Cutler's or Plummer's (previously) face. But man, can they run the ball or what?

It seems like the only pass play that Denver has been consistent with for the last few years is the bootleg. That should tell you something about how bad their pocket protection is.

I had a friend who timed every pass play for a bunch of teams a few years ago and was stunned when he showed me that Denver was one of the worst at keeping defenders out of the spot a normal five step drop would put the QB.

What happened to Al Wilson? I came back to watch the game and saw him being put on a stretcher (and directly to an ambulance). Did it look that bad?

He and a teammate collided. He tried to get up twice and couldn't. no thumbs up leaving the stadium, but he was moving before that.

Anyone else think those newfangled ref uniform bottoms look like windbreaker pants?

I know that A seahawks loss is what the Cowboys need, but I just can't stand the Broncos and their cut-blocking, leg whipping Oline. I just love to watch Mike Shenanigans head explode when they lose.

ANother freakin turnover. Seattle scores a TD here it's all over gang.

I know Tony Romo, Tony Romo is a friend of mine... Jay Cutler, you are no Tony Romo.

that may have been the worst display of tackling i have ever seen. THAT WAS PATHETIC!!!! LOL

Sure looked like a great pickup on that long TD. Wow what a play.

Is anyone afraid of Seattle? They just haven't been impressive this year. I know they've had some key people lose time due to injuries, but they are all back now and I still think the Cowboys could beat them in Seattle.
