Seahawks broadcaster took a shot at Dak during their preseason game

Whoever they were, they were homers beyond belief. I actually noticed and it was uncomfortable.
That's what you get with preseason broadcasts. They focus on their guys they've seen in their camp. But they were complimentary of the good plays we made, especially Camden Brown's TDs.

He wasn't wrong, except about the running backs name.

Dak had prime Zeke, who was the best running back in the league then.

If this is post is meant for everyone to rally around and defend our QB it will fail. Other than Dak playing with DeMarco the broadcaster is 100% correct.
I have a couple of thoughts on this meaningless comment during the game. And subsequent comments here.

First, what was said is true. Dak needs to bring home the bacon. I don't think it takes an M.I.T. graduate's calculations to come to that conclusion.

Second, it was a preseason game that was more about individual players than team.

Third the man who made the comment has an agenda. Maybe making his bones as a color commentator for a career after his somewhat lackluster tenure on the field. And his history with the Cowboys. Bennett never appeared to me as anything other than a malcontent.

The comments that followed here brought up the Jets. And no matter which side of that discussion you lean toward, Q Williams could not have elevated the Jets by himself with a crane, a skyhook, or Chris Angel's fake sorcery. Nor can Dak elevate the Cowboys by himself. Labeling a player as the lone hero or goat ignores the fact this is a 53 man roster and it takes all to bring home the trophy. Just the rebuild of the defense here should indicate team versus player.

Lastly, ML Football, who posted this meme, and claims they, or he, is a credentialed media used the word than instead of then in his text.

"The broadcast than claimed Dak played with DeMarco Murray… which never happened."

It's a small thing, really, but if you choose to call yourself accredited, and use words to report, you'd think your scribe would know the difference, or at the very least know how to edit their drivel.

Later on, Jerry Jones quickly came to Dak's defense, saying that the broadcaster was incorrect and that Dak really doesn't need to start winning playoff games at this point in his career....backed up by the fact that the Cowboys are now worth 15 billion dollars.
.

Dak needs to play well in the playoffs. He's yet to do that.

Not like those awful Packers and Bucs wild card teams they beat. Got to do it against real teams who are real contenders.

He's just awful in those games so far.

I thought it was Michael Bennett on the mic and it was his brother Martellus that was the former Cowboy.

They need to do more research. Murray never played with Dak. I caught that right away.

Those two calling the game on the Seattle broadcast was brutal to listen to.

They could have said Dak played with Emmitt Smith and it wouldn't have been as bad as listening to them for three hours.

What are Seahawks B team broadcasters criticizing Dak? You didn't hear anyone from the Cowboys broadcast boot say anything about the Seahawks. They kept it focus on the Cowboys, why? Because it's Preseason.

I loathe the local commentating during away preseason games. One of the worst is when we play the Rams or Niners. Over the top cringe.
