Seahawks reached out to Randy Moss after trading Percy Harvin

The Seattle Seahawks knew they were going to trade embattled receiver Percy Harvin in the weeks leading up to the deal that shipped him to the New York Jets for minor draft picks. However, Seattle didn't have many options to turn to in free agency once Harvin was gone.
The Seahawks even contacted retired NFL receiver Randy Moss about joining the team after Harvin was dealt. The Seahawks reportedly looked into adding the 37-year-old future Hall of Famer, who last played in 2012, and why not? Seattle is coming off a Super Bowl-winning season, and Moss was never able to get his hands on a ring. He certainly would get a nice final shot at it with the Seahawks, who could use a big receiver like him.
Despite this, Moss declined Seattle's offer, per Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post.
But even at 37, he says he’s still in top shape and confirmed an earlier report by Jay Glazer that the Seahawks had reached out to him about replacing receiver Percy Harvin, who has since been shipped to the Jets.
Moss declined the offer, but while on Fox Sports’ "The Peter Schrager Podcast" last week, he didn’t rule out an NFL return — so long as it was with a certain quarterback.
