Seahawks sold

The Curt Warner-era Seahawks uniforms are the coolest of all time (I mean, other than Cowboys perfect home whites), yet that isn’t good enough for them. At least make the helmet silver again.

Those fluorescent green on green is atrocious. The best AND worst ever. If that was the goal (it wasn’t), nice work.
yeah I have never liked the all dark green Sea uni's. But the owner at the time liked them , so thats what happened. I blame Nike, they want to sell sell sell , so they send examples to owners all the time.
I am tired of seeing that stupid nike logo .

I get it. First, most ownerships for these big prices are groups, not 1 person, so they are not owners like Jerry or Davis as we old timers are used to. Second, you cannot ask a guy to sell a partial ownership like 3% prior to a deal even going through on the new team. It’s the off season. I’m sure he has to sell his 3% of Niners prior to the season. One of the other owners will likely buy it.

Forbes' 2025 estimated valuation of the Seattle Seahawks was $6.7 billion (link). The Dallas Cowboys' valuation was $13 billion.

Hypothetical: If the Jones cartel, I mean family, were willing to sell at or above the franchise's valuation, using an equal multiplier, Jerry Jones would accept no less than $18.6 billion. If I can only find a lucky cricket that will put together an investor group and pull off that doozy of a deal.

Was gonna say at some point we will run out of billionaires to buy these franchises but according to Google AI there are over 3400 on the planet, The US alone with almost 1K. So maybe not.
these are INVESTMENT groups, not a single person, This is not like Jerry who rolled up borrowed some money and bought the Cowboys, they put together multiple entities that have lots of money and resources or assets and as a group they form some kind of corporation and then purchase a team like this that way the money is spread out.. I'm sure it's cut up into ownership percentages and how it's going to be ran but that's how you can buy teams is when you put together a group of investors..

Conflict of interest much?
I am betting that when it's all said and done forward and the deal is 100 percent approved by the league Part of it is he has to sell his interest in the 49ers'cause there has to be some rules..

And when they say limited partner it might be those that they have allowed to sell pieces of the franchise I can't remember there was something past three or four years ago where you can sell a very small percentage to get some liquidity in cash and make so many very limited you know small percent I don't know what it was like three or 3%..

The NFL (National Football League) updated its ownership policy to allow pre-approved private equity and institutional funds to acquire passive, minority ownership stakes in franchises.
Key details of the adopted rules include:
  • Ownership Limit: A fund can own a maximum of 10% of an NFL team, with individual stakes strictly capped at a minimum of 3%.
  • No Voting Power: The investments are entirely passive. These firms hold no voting rights or control over team management or football operations.
  • Hold Requirements: The equity must be held for a minimum of six years.
  • Firm Caps: Approved private equity firms are limited to investing in a maximum of six teams total.

so? I'm not sure why they Seattle Seahawks being sold is a story for the Cowboys They're not in the NFC East they're not a rival Doesn't really affect the Cowboys at all I mean who cares who the ownership group is the team is gonna remain very much the same I doubt there's any big changes coming to the roster..

Yeah, and I get that. I just have questions as, sure, he might have to divest financially, but how much interest does he still have there in terms of people. That's my concern.
