OAK has traded 2 picks to Seattle for Matt Flynn, will sign papers on it this AM & now trying to finalize Carson Palmer to AZ for late pick

The 2 picks the Raiders sent for Flynn are in 2014 and 2015 draft. Both are later rounds

The deal in place Friday had a pick one year and a conditional the next going from Oakland to Seattle. We'll see if it's '13/'14 or '14/'15.

Oakland also trying to finalize a trade that would send Carson Palmer to Arizona for one late pick. Palmer would restructure contract in AZ.

Those who know soon-to-be former Raiders QB Carson Palmer believe he was hoping to wind in Tampa Bay with Bucs. Doesn't look that way now.

Well, Palmer will have Fitz to throw to. Maybe a different offensive scheme will benefit him.

All of these vet QBs (not sure Flynn fits that bill, but just the same) getting snatched up tells us all we need to know about this year's crop of QBs.

It could be worse, Cowboy fans, it could most definitely be worse.:laugh1:

Having said that, I suspect 2 or more QBs to be drafted int he 1st round anyway. The value of the position is just too high.
