Sean Lee "Beast Mode" Appreciation Thread

Thanks for this thread. Sean Lee is the impudence on the this defense that keeps it rolling. He's all over the field. Another unmentionable is Byron Jones who looks like he's found his spot and tackling like Church. He is certainly earning his draft status. Lastly is Anthony Brown. Love this guys confidence. Good tackler and always has his nose in the play.

David Irving, Mo Claiborne, TMcClain and JJ Wilcox also need some love.

Yes they do. Exception pending with Wilcox. He drives me crazy with his miss tackles. He does not wrap up and it's costly when the offender overcome the initial hit and gains on him until pursuit arrives. This is coachable and you see the others including Claiborne finally getting are on board staying on their tackles. Another culprit with this poor tackling is Carr.
This seems knit picky but I have a peeve about NFL players who can't tackle.

I think Lee may have had a small injury earlier in the year, looked slow to me in the first couple games. He seems to be getting faster and hitting players harder now. Also, I have to give it up to Hitchens as well who seems to be improving, he actually stood Lacy up a few times yesterday which was crazy since players almost never do that.

But the Sean Lee we saw yesterday doesn't surprise me, he's always been a player giving it 110% when healthy and, to me, had HOF-like talent if it wasn't for his injuries.

McClain is the guy I'm still most impressed with on D. Just an all-around solid DT I hope we keep around. David Irving needs more snaps after the bye and he's fully recovered from the concussion he sustained a couple weeks ago.

All signs point to him being cut once he's off suspension. Does not make $ sense to do it now - so Dallas is waiting until then. Lots of smoke out there and I am not expecting anything from him again in Dallas, unfortunatley.

Also much smoke about Gregory - even when he comes back - not being a factor.

On defense, we've got for the rest of the season what we have today. Get used to it.

he is doing great, but how do you hit your own players ?? look before launching, or aim better.!
He concussed Mo, and we really need mo, and that could have a lasting effect on mo .
once you get knocked out like that, your more likely to get knocked out again.

And he couldnt hang on to the int, usually he is good with his hands.
And moving him to weak side was a good move, but we have to thank purple drank Rolando for that move.

Collateral damage unfortunately.

I think I figured it out. After rewatching the game, the fumble was first picked up by Lee. Mo then grabbed it out if his hands and fell on it as Lee was about to run with it. Maybe Lee was just sending Mo a message not to steal his thunder. /conspiracy theory

Bottom line, Sean Lee was great yesterday.

If we have to give credit for a great game, does that mean has has not usually been great or good?
I give him credit this season for staying off the injured list.
