I'm not worried about Lee's size or skills inside...just his durability.

One ACL tear is a fluke. He's not injury prone.

Now, if he gets them consistently, there's a problem. But one ACL tear doesn't mean a person isn't durable. It just means their knees got twisted the wrong way in some freak bend. Let's not blame a player for one injury.

I see this guy and I see a Keith Brooking clone. He's a leader and a team-first guy. He'll fit in with the Cowboy's locker room. He'll also contribute on Special teams, just like Dez.

No, Bradie is 247, 10+ lbs bigger and looks it. Brooking is listed at 241, but he also looks a heck of a lot bigger than Lee, who is listed at 235 but I think that is draft hype at play.

No way you look at Lee and think 3-4 ILB. Size is going to be an issue unless he can put on some weight without slowing down.

Actually he wasn't. That's what killed his neck and his career. He was no longer protected in Parcells' 3-4 like he had been in the 4-3.

Remember, we ran Zim's 4-3 until the third year under Parcells, when we switched to the 3-4. That was Dat's last year thanks to the neck injury while he was taking on a guard.

Well, that's really a Parcells 3-4 that an ILB would need to do that.

In Phillip's scheme they're only responsible for one gap and are generally protected from blockers by the DEs and NT.

Sean Lee is pretty much the same size as Bradie and Brooking and they're fine.

Don't get me wrong......I like the pick. There's a ton of good things about him as well. I'm also not overly concerned with what the 'Draft Guru's' "think" about the kid. I always take a wait and see approach with draft picks, hoping for the best. Just wondered out loud is all.

Wade and Parcells run different 3-4's. Wade had Donnie Edwards who was only like 225 pounds start at ILB for him, and he was a very good player. I think he was a Pro Bowler, but I'm not certain about that. He was very good though.
