A guy who doesn't have any thing to prove seems like someone you can rest for one of the 5 weeks without any problems. You really need two good weeks from him, next week and the following.

OMG,it really is the year of the hamstrings.

I am going to take a different tact here.

Is it possible that we see all these hamstring injuries because the Cowboys are simply taking a very proactive approach here? In other words, in the past they let players play through "tightness" which resulted in more serious hamstring problems and now, at the first sign of discomfort, they just pull a guy from the field? It gets reported as a hamstring issue and we all just jump to conclusions but in reality, it's probably not a huge deal?

That Switzer had the tightness and took less than 2 weeks to come back would lend towards that notion.
