I really like him alot but was curious is he damaged goods with the Knee Problems ? I'm more curious is he 100% over these ?

I think he is completely free of the injury as he said he will not be wearing a brace like he did his last season...plus he uses AXE body wash and spray so that helps.

They wouldn't have drafted him otherwise. Lee said that he wore a knee brace last year and now doesn't need it.

I was worried about the same questions.....but, I have two friends who watch all Penn State games....and they say he is healed.

Other remarks they made.

--relentless
--team player

I think that's going to be a problem with all the chicks running on to the field and grabbing him.

He had an ACL in 1 knee and a mcl in his other... Right?

Lets hope he doesn't have bad knees. I can't wait to see this guy play. I keep looking for Penn State games on ESPNU.

yes, his knee injury was two years ago, played with a brace last year until game three I think , he said he's completely healed.

He tore the ACL in spring practice or the spring game (can't remember which) prior to the 2008 season which would have been his senior year. So he is now 2 years removed from that surgery.

He did sprain the MCL in his other knee (I think) in the first game of the 2009 season. He missed 3 games, incuding the Big 10 opener against Iowa then returned and wore a brace. They were cautious with him because they knew he was a potential high pick. He wore his uniform for the Iowa game and they took his helmet off him because they were worried he would try to enter the game. He helped call defenses from the sideline with his uniform on for that game.

I'm biased because he grew up 10 minutes from me and I'm a PSU fan, but this kid is a gamer. He's a very good player. Tough, hard nosed, intelligent, and just loves the game. I think he's better than Posluzny and Conner who preceded him as drafted lb's at PSU. He's more athletic. If he stays healthy we are looking at the next Keith Brooking for 7-10 years in the middle of our defense.

Why is this knee freaking out so many people? I don't get it. ACL tears aren't unusual at all and 100% recoveries are commonplace these days.

Michael Irvin tore his ACL his second year... I think he did okay the rest of his career. And that was when the surgery and rehab wasn't as advanced as they are today.

I have heard that he is so bad, so motivated and half-crazy,, he will run head first into a wall if a football coash asks him to....

Why do you hate America?

He is your typical Penn State LB, smart and intense. Conner took several years to develop to be ready to start with the Panthers. That is what I expect from Lee. These Jack Ham expectations are a little high though.

Oh yeah...I heard that he and Beuhler can't even be in the same room because the overwhelming awesomeness could tear a hole in the space-time continuum.

We have Buehler there to stop them.

I don't think it is going to take several years to develop him. And I haven't heard any Jack Ham expectations, but I was out of town yesterday.

I'm a big Penn State fan and watch most of their games on the Big Ten Network when they aren't on regular TV. Last year he showed no signs of any lingering affects from the injury.

One thing as well, when he was injured, you would always see him on the sideline with a headset on working with the coaches and coaching his teammates.

This guy was nicknamed General Lee for a reason. He is a take charge kind of guy and a very sure tackler. He is extremely football smart and will be one of the guys who you will be talking about as one of your favorite Cowboys for years to come.

I am as excited about this pick as I am the Dez pick, and I was a huge proponent of us getting Dez.

Joe Pa was the one who made the comparison.

Cajun, I saw that they projected him behind Brady James. Do you think that he is a better fit there or behind Brooking?
