Sean Lee should retire today

give him headphones and a clipboard as an assistant to the assistant...

He’s 33

This injury act has long run its course

Enough
As outlandish as this may sound to many, I cannot disagree with it. I've become accustomed to calling him China doll... & he never fails in proving that the nickname fits. Every single freaking year.... I'd rather see LVE out there earning his stripes honestly.

Sean Lee to retire. Fire Garrett and Linehan. Bench Dak. Who is actually going to coach and play? Just snap the ball to Zeke and have 10 block every down?

This will be his last season in Dallas. It's a shame, the man can flat out play, but he is minimally reliable.

Still the best option at LB when healthy. Lee lives in the backfield of opposing offenses. LVE's tackles aren't behind the LOS yet. Who cares if Stephen saves money, not like money in his bank helps the team win. Best chance to win = having Lee even if his snaps get limited.

Without a healthy Sean Lee, this defense doesn't have a leader that can walk the walk. The teams record without him speaks for itself. So, sure, go ahead and retire him. But you better replace him with an equivalent talent.

LVE was drafted for this. I imagine Sean plays out the string and retires in the offseason. Hopefully he his added to the staff. He will be a great coach

Dak should retire too while we're at it.

Retire now? C'mon.

But it shows why we invested in a LB high this draft and took another in the 6th round.

His time is coming to an end sooner than later, but still is an effective player, when on the field.

What if you won yourself a Lamborghini, with all taxes and fees paid, would you keep the car knowing that you had to put it away for 6+ months out of the year? Of course you would just as long as you had yourself a serviceable vehicle to drive in the non-Lambo season. Clearly, Joe Thomas and LVE are 'serviceable' vehicles that will get you where you want to go while you wait to roll out your pride and joy. Last year, there was no 'serviceable' vehicle so you were left waiting at a bus stop. Nomsayin'?

Injury act? This is who he was even in college. Did they think that getting drafted into the nfl was going to improve that?

When you go all of training camp with Lee placed in bubble wrap, and unwrap him for game one and you wonder why he ends up with a hamstring injury....I said as much during training camp so this no surprise to me!

When on the field, he is a good linebacker now...
