Sean Lee

I sure hope that's the case. Isn't Sean listed as #50? I thought he started out as #54.
That was Bobby Carpenter.

Yeah, I knew Carp was #54, and never lived up to what the number really means to Dallas fans. But I thought when the rooks were given #'s that Sean had 54. Then decided to change to 50.

Ah, oh well.

No, he was wearing 45 (his college #) until a number in the 50's or 90's (LB #'s) came up and he took 50 over 54.

Thank you for the clarification. Yeah, I definitely remember Sean's college number. I get to see a lot of Penn State football. Actually, more than I care too.

Ah, oh well.

After Carpenter's tenure here, Lee obviously felt he couldn't live up to the pressure of #54. Actually, I think Lee had #46 before he switched to 50.

Paterno said Lee is the best LB at Penn State since Jack Ham. That should put a big grin on everyone's face.

Per Wade Phillips at today's PC...

"I think they're talking about Wednesday as far as him coming back. I hope that's the case. What he had in previously helped him, and he's a smart guy. He hasn't made many mistakes. Made very few mistakes for a rookie. Maybe for any player. That's helped him. And he's very instinctive so, I think he'll fall right back in when he gets back."

So the "I'm afraid..." to "...but it's true" is just all gurgle and no guts.
He is an excellent LB. His IS injury prone. Sorry to burst ur lil bubble .

You haven't. I seriously doubt you could. This is flailing at the air nonsense.

Do a lil research. I saw it firsthand.

You saw what first hand? The flailing in the air? I have no doubt of that.

Let's see. Under Wade, Ware had his best year.

Not only that, but under Wade, Ellis had his best year as a pass rusher.

Wade liked Spencer, and Spencer busted on the scene last year. Wade likes Brooking, and Brooking was solid last year.

Wade likes Brandon Williams and Sean Lee.

Yeah.

I kind of want to see them.

When Wade starts talking LBers, I listen. He clearly knows his LBers like he knows his cupcakes.

The OP punches at the air because the air does not fight back. The topic of the thread is pretty ridiculous.

I should have known better than to take you off ignore.

I hope I'm as active as Paterno is at his age. And he sounds just fine coaching his players. I'm frankly envious of him. You'll understand what I'm talking about when you get another 40 years down the road.

Im afraid this guy is another made of glass player. He tore his ACL and missed 2008. Then he missed 3 games in 2009. Now he cant get on the field cause of his Quad. Too bad cause he is good, reminds me of Burnett though with the glassness. Go ahead and rip me now. But its true.

way to not rush to judgement!!!

Burnett among Chargers' vets in roster trouble

...
Maybe the most surprising player we hear is in danger of being let go is ILB Kevin Burnett. Signing with the Bolts as a free agent prior to last season, Burnett became disgruntled late in '09 as his playing time began to decrease, not ending the season on the best of terms with the club. He then underwent neck surgery in the offseason and was unable to participate in any team activities. If San Diego gets productive outings from '10 third-rounder Donald Butler and its other young inside 'backers during exhibition action, it could be enough to push the former Cowboy onto the wrong side of the bubble, especially if his neck doesn't prove to be fully healthy.

Uh oh! Burnett is indeed Glass Joe. Lee is nowhere close to that. Not yet anyways.
